I'm Catherine! New England Wedding Photographer, couples photographer & professional Hype-woman

Connecticut Wedding Photographer

I help couples enjoy their day and let them focus on creating memories, rather than photos.

My super powers include making people feel super comfortable in front of the camera, procuring board games, and laughing until my cheeks hurt

As a Connecticut Wedding Photographer, I love the outdoors, no matter the season or weather! If I didn't, I'd be stuck inside for four months of the year! I love good company, hikes, cozy game nights, coffee, baking and do I love dogs, especially Oban & Winnie my Weimaraners.

I moved back to the US after living in Scotland for 8 years. That's where I met my husband, got my undergrad in Molecular Bio and my MRES in neuroscience. Traipsing around the highlands, is where I fell in love with photographing couples. After my own engagement, I started looking for photographers and found this awesome niche of adventurous, candid, movement centric photography and realized that was what my soul had been looking for. I started photographing in that way, and I haven't looked back. That was in 2017.

I've photographed couples and wedding around the globe over the last few years, from lots of East Coast states, to Austria, Scotland, the Netherlands and England. Photography big weddings is fun and fast paced, but having eloped myself, intimate weddings and elopements hold a special place in my heart. It's about making sure that the day is about you two, or you two and your family and friends, not just about a photoshoot.

Let's do the damn thing

"Photographing weddings, couples in exciting seasons of life, marrying their best friend, it's all an honor that I don't take lightly."

That's why the difference between super awkward and wonderfully epic is working alongside someone who takes the time to know you, and see you.
